The Dashboard runs in the computers native operating system (Windows) and allows for easy access and control of the EncryptaKey device.  It contains all of the application needed to use the drive in the native OS and boot the computer into the EncryptaKey secure operating System.

 With one click the Dashboard can begin the restart process, rebooting the computer and loading the secure operating system; making it easy for anyone to use the EncryptaKey. There are no complex system changes to make or bios settings to change, the EncryptaKey Dashboard takes care of it all, leaving to trace of its operation behind on the host computer.  Additionally, cold booting (loading without a native operating system) is supported*, the EncryptaKey and its secure operating system can boot directly from bios without ever loading the computers native operating system.

 Biometric and password settings (depending on the device model) can also be managed from the Dashboard, controlling the access security to the device.

 The Secure Storage Transfer application allows for moving of files and documents to and from the secured partition of the EncryptaKey device. This allows them to be used while within the secure operating system. All files transferred to and from the EncryptaKey device pass through an on board virus scanning application to ensure that no cross contamination of files can occur. Additionally, the core of the secure operating systems read-only nature makes it immune to malicious infections and defends it from threats.
